What are Public Materials, and How Can You Use Them?

This article explains what SEDDI Textura's Public Materials are, and uses four diverse textiles as examples of how to use them.


Public Materials

  • Basic materials are available in SEDDI Textura for users to practice with and learn how to use all of SEDDI Textura's features.

  • Public materials files come from our fabric experts at SEDDI.

  • Here are four materials that cover a spread of common materials used in apparel and textile manufacturing. (See the images below)

  • Beige Melange Public Rib 3x3 - SED-1170 

  • Pink Stripes public French Terry- SED-1290

  • Turquoise_Gold public Jacquard Woven SED-058

  • Wine Public Twill SED-1012 

What can be done with public materials?

You can edit all of the following public materials:

  • Color

  • Transparency

  • Roughness

  • Specularity

  • Scale

NOTE: You cannot SAVE the file; you have to SAVE AS (a new name) in order to further edit Public Materials.
