About Textura Enterprise Plan Workflow

The platform's Enterprise plan enables SEDDI Textura to become a shared workspace for tiling teams.

SEDDI Textura Enterprise Plan

The Enterprise Plan unlocks several powerful features that enable SEDDI Textura to become a shared workspace for tiling teams.

With an Enterprise Plan:

  1. Mills are able to scan fabrics and send them directly to the Enterprise account.

  2. The Enterprise account will be able to assign fabrics to be tiled by external tiling teams.

  3. Users can use tiling tools before or after a fabric is uploaded.

  4. Original scans can be re-uploaded to maintain a reference of the scanned fabric.

  5. Texture stacks can be created before or after the tiling process is complete.

  6. Users can upload the tiled guidance map from external graphics software.

  7. Save, download, and upload previous versions of digital fabrics in each stage of the tiling process.

  8. Add callouts to areas of a digital fabric that require additional work/fixes.

  9. Onboard external parties while maintaining digital fabric privacy and ownership.

  10. Maintain digitization consistency across all suppliers.

  11. Manage digitization processes and keep activity history.

The "Send to" Feature

The “Send to” feature will send the scanned fabric to the Enterprise account. Please note that this fabric will not be available to the vendor once submitted to the Enterprise account.

This feature is only available for vendors who are authorized to upload fabrics.

The Option to Upload a Placeholder

Example use case:

Uploading a placeholder will allow you to upload fabric information and submit the listing to the tiling vendor, allowing them to scan the appropriate fabric and re-upload it as an original scan.

Once the material has been created, the fabric will go into the "Waiting queue" section of the Enterprise account. The Enterprise account can then review the material and assign it to a team for tiling.

Assign Fabrics to be Tiled by External Tiling Teams

From the "Waiting Queue" tab, decide if you want to assign the fabric to a tiling team or to keep it for internal use.

Assigning a fabric to be tiled by a supplier will maintain the fabric in the waiting queue tab. Only once work has begun on the file will it automatically be moved to the "Working queue" tab. This feature makes it easier to keep track of the stage that your fabric is in.

After assigning a fabric to a supplier, the material will appear on the supplier account, in the "Waiting queue" tab.

Supplier List Dropdown Menu

**If a supplier has a Free or Standard SEDDI Textura account, workflow functionality will only become available to them for the assigned fabrics by the Enterprise-associated account.

**The supplier list dropdown will be built by SEDDI's development team according to the information that the Enterprise account provides to us about its vendors. We require info such as names, email addresses, as well as which role should be assigned to each external team member.

Re-uploading Original Scans

When you re-upload an original scan, the first version uploaded will be kept on the right side for reference.

Optional Use Case: If there has been a mistake while choosing the right repeat, a resolution change while uploading re-original scan, an over gradient correction, or any action that could occur during the tiling process—that will result in a non-digital twin fabric.

This feature lets you compare the original version against the albedo version when tiling in both the 2D view, and the 3D viewport in SEDDI Textura.

Comparing the versions is only possible in "Working on it" mode. It is not available in the "Approve" mode. If you wish to compare versions after approving your fabrics, you can always hit "Working on it" and bring it back into working mode to continue your work.

Working Mode

Working on the fabric will keep it in the "Working on it" tab.

When you want to work on a fabric from any stage, you can press “Working on it”.

When you open a fabric from the “Waiting Queue” and start to work on it, it will automatically move to the “Working on it” tab.

Working in Layers

When using Workflow while working through the steps of tiling with SEDDI Textura's tiling tools, you can choose to reset your changes, discard your work, or implement the changes.

On the left in the Download section, you will be able to see the version that is in the tiling process that you created.

This feature can be used to save steps on the way if you wish to do part of the tiling work on external software. It can also be used as a saved history in case you need to go a few steps back in your process.

In such a case, hit the tiling tool file version that you wish to continue with, and upload it again as a tiled guidance map with the button "Upload tiled guidance map".

Use Case for Layers for Quality Assurance

Layers give you an insight into the tiling team work. If needed, you will be able to download the previous version of a digital fabric and re-upload it as the current version.

Generate Texture Maps

Once your tiling work is done and you are happy with the result, press "Generate Maps" to send the fabric to be processed.

The material status will change to "Processing" automatically, and as soon as it's done it will automatically change to the “Material Review” tab.

Material Review

After "Processing" and generating the texture maps, the tiled fabric will automatically be moved to the "Material Review" tab.

From there, the QA of the enterprise account will be able to check the quality of the tiling work, and approve or reject the fabric.

Once the fabric is approved it will move automatically to the "Approved" tab and will be no longer visible to the external tiling teams/users/suppliers.

If a fabric is rejected, it will be moved to the "Rejected" column.

You can use our drawing tools to mark the areas that need to be fixed.

Once the tiling team opens the rejected file, they will be able to use the eraser in the drawing tools in order to delete those marks and continue to work.

History Log

The history log keep track of everything that happened to the fabric file. Here you will be able to scroll up to see the changes made to the fabric, such as applying tiling tools, uploading a tiled version, or how many times has this fabric been rejected, for example.

You can also use the log in order to print a message that you would like to be saved in the logged details for this fabric if needed.

The Enterprise Plan for SEDDI Textura offers a comprehensive array of features tailored to the needs of tiling teams and suppliers, transforming the platform into a collaborative workspace. Key functionalities include seamless fabric scanning and transmission from mills to the Enterprise account, enabling efficient allocation of fabrics to external teams and utilization of tiling tools throughout the process. The plan also supports the re-uploading of original scans, the creation of texture stacks, and the integration of tiled guidance maps from external software. Users benefit from version control for tiling tool stages, the ability to annotate areas for attention, and secure onboarding of external parties while preserving fabric privacy. Moreover, the plan ensures digitization consistency across suppliers and provides robust tools for managing workflow and monitoring activity history.
