Double sided Materials

How to combine the Front and Back sides of a fabric in Textura to get a double-sided material.


Create a Double-sided materials in Textura

Creating the Back and Front of the fabric does require 2 separate scans, one for the Front and one for the Back

as the tiling process needs to be made separately for each side.

Once each side of the fabric is created and approved. you will be able to combine them for a double-sided material from your "approved fabric" library.

To create a double-sided material in Textura, visit the collection page for the Approved Materials section.

Each fabric in the library has 3 dots that allow you to:

  • Quick Download

  • Link Colorways

  • Create Double Sided materials

  • Remove

Choose the 2-sided material option.

a pop-up window will prompt you to choose the back side of the material.


Once you choose the back side of the fabric, a new pop-up window will show you the fabrics you have chosen side by side.

Please note that physics will be generated according to the Front side of the material.

Your new double-sided material will be sent automatically to processing and it will be available for you in your fabric library.
